Good: Reception staff were kind and let us check in early after a long overnight flight from Madrid. We were also able to leave our bags in storage while the room was being made ready so we could go out for breakfast, etc. The room was spacious and quiet facing the rear. Breakfast was really good with a lot of offer and eggs made to order. The hotel is in a nice, quiet and green part of Lima with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.
Bad: Bathrooms are showing their age. Also not clear how to dispose of bathroom waste compared to the rest of Peru i.e. flush or put in bin for cleaners to collect. Lift from the lobby was also out of order on last day.
The main criticism though would be the almost opposite experience (negative) the following week when staying in the same hotel again. There seems to be no consistency to service standards.
