Sonesta El Olivar in Lima

Good: The hotel is in a most beautiful and quiet place of the city - easy walk to many places in the city. The olive trees are gorgeous. The staff is always smiling and helpful. The breakfast is excellent especially when coupled with the view of the street from my table. The room was so well lit with big windows - helpful to get over jet lags. The coffee in the room was much appreciated.

This is the fifth time I stayed at the Sonesta in San Isidro, A quieter location than Miraflores, this hotel is next to a park, safe area, walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants and shirt Uber drives to other excellent restaurants in Lima.
What makes Sonesta a great place to stay is the staff. Everyone without exception are helpful, courteous and willing to go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Many of them are bilingual. Fabulous breakfasts! Unlike American hotels in the USA, Peruvians take food seriously starting from your first meal of the day.
Will return again!
