We stayed here during our peru tour. This is very nice hotel with excellent breakfast. Staff is helpful. We have dinner here with a group and was nice too. The major weakness of the hotel is “noise”. We had to change the room since room has a very strong sound from the system and also from the A/C engines where is located out of the building. Since sound isolation is very weak it was also very disturbing . They changed the room and give much smaller room and claimed that that is sound proof room but unfortunately because if poor isolation of the windows we have to use ear plugs to cut the noise.

These hotel remains consistent through the years. The staff at reception, restaurant and in general services are outstanding. Breakfast ms are impressive in variety and abundance of choices, located in a quiet area of Lima next to a large park, Sonesta offers peace after a busy day. Many cafes and restaurants at a walking distance. Miraflores and Barranco are 4 miles away or $3 Uber ride. The breakfast team is impressive! Having observed them for 7 days they work as as a team ensuring that you are satisfied. That culture is extended to other areas as well. Stayed on the 4th floor and my only about this hotel is that rooms are beginning to show some wear and tear but the mattress are like clouds to rest. The staff (many bilingual) is such a gem that they will accommodate any need you may have. PS Give the restaurant a chance is not as busy as the famous Tanta across the street.
