Sonesta Cusco in Cusco

Nice modern hotel. Close to shops, stores and main square. Walking distance to historic monuments and restaurants. However air conditioning did not work properly and opening the balcony doors meant lots of traffic noise.

How lovely after a busy travel day to relax in a clean well equiped hotel room. We had a delicious supper in the dinning room and were surprised with a lovely live show as well. Our Canadian Thanksgiving dinner this year was local corn chowder and roast guinea pig!

Had a 2 night stay at the Sonesta Hotel in Cusco, Peru. Quality establishment with friendly, helpful staff. Our guest room was spacious and clean. Note: don’t flush paper in the toilets! The restaurant was the crown jewel of our stay. Attentive staff and amazing food and choices (thank you, Clara). The presentation of the smallest detail was given great thought. We will be back here in about two weeks and can’t wait to try more menu items.
